Georgie Prespakis and Charlie Rowbottom's inclusion in the AFLW 22under22 side has broken the record for the most selections, joining Western Bulldogs great Marcus Bontempelli for the fifth time.

Prespakis' older sister, Madison, and Richmond gun Monique Conti, previously held the record with four, but were topped following the recent announcement.

Bontempelli is the only male player to achieve the feat, while Nick Daicos, Andrew McGrath, Luke Jackson, Bailey Smith and Aaron Naughton all follow closely with four each.

Rowbottom is the younger sister of Sydney onballer, James, and has found comfort at the top level playing for Gold Coast.

The Cats star was named the vice-captain of the side, playing the supporting role under West Coast's Ella Roberts.

Roberts was among four Eagles to be named in the team, with Georgie Cleaver, Lucia Painter and Charlotte Thomas making the final cut.

Fans selected the final team from an initial squad of 44 players compiled by inaugural AFLW player Kate McCarthy (Chair of Selectors) and supported by the AFLPA and Champion Data.

To be eligible, players must be 22 or younger for the entire season, including Grand Final Day on November 29, and must have played at least five matches in 2025.
