With the season ending this weekend for 10 clubs, eyes are naturally starting to turn to the trade table.

A pair of rebuilding clubs in Adelaide and Carlton appear to have been the busiest sides across the last seven days.

Nicks claims Crows will be busy at the trade table

Matthew Nicks has suggested that his cashed up Crows will be doing plenty of wheeling and dealing this off-season.

However, Nicks did state that the club would be looking to bring in more than just local talent

Pies hit pause on Pendlebury contract

Collingwood have put a pin in their contract talks with skipper Scott Pendlebury as they focus their attention on finding Nathan Buckley's successor.

Although many believe that 'Pendles' will remain a Pie, this pause is likely to create more than just a few concerns for members of the Magpie Army.

Tall Tiger set to remain in yellow and black

Rival sides have reportedly called off the hunt for Tigers youngster Callum Coleman-Jones.

Although tipped to remain at Tigerland, the 22-year-old had supposedly drawn interest from the Power, Crows and Suns.

Still, as a contract is yet to be inked, the South Australian could yet be lured home.

Could the Power steal Shiel?

Former Port Adelaide games record holder Kane Cornes believes that the Power should be making an off-season play to secure the services of Dylan Shiel.

Cornes suggested that family ties could see the Victorian drawn across the border.

Jordan Lewis is of the belief that recently culled Crow Daniel Talia would slot in seamlessly to Damien Hardwick's defense.

The view comes in the wake of yet another premiership defender in David Astbury calling time on his days in boots.

Crows tipped to chase cygnet

The Adelaide Football Club should have young South Australian Dylan Stephens in their sights this off-season, according to fellow Croweater Kane Cornes.

Having played in the SANFL for Norwood and considering the Crows supposed 'warchest', the West Lakes side must be seen as frontrunners should the young gun decide to depart the harbour city.

Despite having a year to run on his current contract at the Kennel, Western Australian ruckman Tim English is in no rush to recommit to the club.

Cerra to Carlton appearing close to certain

Dockers midfielder Adam Cerra appears a certainty to return to Victoria next year, with Carlton looming as his club of choice.
