The AFL has revealed the 2023 All-Australian squad of 44 ahead of Awards Night on Wednesday.

The competition's best-performing players were officially recognised on Monday, as the league released each club's list of nominees for the final team of 22; to be announced on Wednesday evening.

2023 is the first year in the 18-team era where every club had at least one player represented in the 44-player squad.

Collingwood received the most nominations, with five players receiving well-deserved call-ups after terrific home-and-away campaigns, while the Brisbane Lions (four) were close behind.

Geelong, Gold Coast, North Melbourne, Richmond, and West Coast tied for receiving the least amount of nominations (one) to Monday's squad.
