Brisbane's Dayne Zorko has escaped with a fine for his hit to the groin of North Melbourne's Paul Curtis.

He will pay $1000 with an early guilty plea with the match review officer deeming it a first striking offence.

Zorko is set to miss the next few weeks with a calf complaint.

Meanwhile, teammate Jarrod Berry has escaped without sanction for his clumsy mistimed spoil which collected Dylan Stephens high.

Five more players can accept a fine after Saturday's matches.

Western Bulldogs superstar Marcus Bontempelli and Hawthorn's Conor Nash were both charged with careless contact with an umpire so can accept a $1000 fine.

It was the first offence for both players. 

North Melbourne's Charlie Comben will be $2000 lighter in the pocket after carelessly collecting Brisbane's Kai Lohmann high.

Teammate Luke McDonald was fined for an intentional, low-impact body shot on Lions livewire Charlie Cameron in the third term.

Melbourne defender Jake Lever copped a $1000 fine for a third quarter incident involving Essendon breakthrough forward Tom Edwards.
