The AFL have confirmed the two former stars who will present the premiership cup if their respective clubs win the 2018 Grand Final.

If the Pies are victorious, 1990 premiership captain and North Smith medallist Tony Shaw will have the honours, handing the silverware to Nathan Buckley and Scott Pendlebury.

However, if the Eagles get up and win their first flag since 2006, 1994 Norm Smith medal winner Dean Kemp will be the man to hand the silverware to Adam Simpson and Shannon Hurn.

Shaw played 313 games for the Pies and also coached the club between 1996-1999, while Kemp played 243 games for the Eagles and was a two-time premiership player.
