Collingwood's 69 point win over Essendon has been soured with an injury to Travis Varcoe.

Varcoe injured his hamstring in the first half of yesterday's ANZAC Day clash and did not take any further part in the game.

He is unlikely to play in Collingwood's clash with West Coast in Perth on Sunday, with Buckley's men making the trip West on a six day break.

The two-time Geelong premiership player only just returned last week for his first game of the year, after suffering a hamstring injury during the pre-season.

Out-of-form full forward Travis Cloke is also unlikely to play next week after being dropped from the Pies senior side on the weekend.

Cloke kicked two goals for Collingwood's VFL side, but only managed five disposals for the match, as the Magpies went down by 85 points to Essendon on Sunday.
