St Kilda's Lance Collard has been handed a three-week sanction for striking Frankston's Jackson Voss on the weekend.
The incident, graded as careless conduct, high contact, and high impact, can have its punishment downgraded to a two-match suspension should Collard and the Saints take the early plea.
It is just one of the incidents that left Collard in hot water on the weekend, with the 21-year-old alleged to have again used a homophobic slur on a football field, less than two years after being handed a six-week suspension for the very same thing.

Pundits across the landscape have expressed varying levels of disgust with the West Australian's second offence, with Kate McCarthy calling for the Saints to part ways with the prospect, should he be found guilty of the offence a second time.
His punishment last time around included an education program, which would appear to have been ineffective.
Collard has allegedly confided in friends that he used the word 'maggot', which notably sounds very similar to its more offensive counterpart.
AFL-listed Geelong utility Brad Close was also handed a sanction. A one-week ban was assigned to his dangerous tackle on Box Hill's Cody Anderson, but the 129-gamer can accept a $500 fine with an early plea.
