The North man is out of favour at the club, with Rhyce Shaw choosing to drop him for the three of the clubs last four matches.
Ex-Tigers coach Terry Wallace told SEN that there is potential for the ex-Port man to go to a fourth club this off-season.
"My gut feeling is I think Jared Polec will be playing at a fourth AFL club next year."
With Polec likely to stay in Victoria, Hawthorn could be a potential destination for the pacey midfielder.
