West Coast has accepted the one-match ban handed to midfielder Deven Robertson for his rough conduct charge on Zak Butters.

Robertson will miss the Eagles' clash against Sydney on Saturday at Optus Stadium.

The 24-year-old slung Butters to the ground in a football act in the third quarter of Sunday's engrossing contest, and has seen the action graded careless conduct, medium impact and high contact - a combination that denotes a one-week layoff.

Robertson's life as an Eagle has started brightly, playing all three clashes since crossing from Brisbane.

The former Lion has averaged 19.7 disposals, 6.3 tackles and 4.7 clearances, largely playing a defensively-minded role in a bid to support the likes of Harley Reid and Tim Kelly.

Veteran on-baller Elliot Yeo is also staring down the barrel of more time on the sidelines.

Yeo came from the ground with a groin injury, failing to return to the field after half-time.

Malakai Champion and Tom Cole were the club's emergencies in the win over Port Adelaide.

Co-captain Liam Baker has accepted a $1000 fine for engaging in a melee/wrestle, downgraded from $1500 with an early guilty plea.
