Who could Adelaide look toward with their opening pick for this year's 2023 AFL National Draft?

Zero Hanger'sย Mitch Keating andย Rookie Me Centralย draft analyst Michael Alvaro discussed the options the Crows could select with their first-round pick.

Potentially seeing a midfielder at the top of their draft board, the Crows could be left in a difficult position if their pick sits between seventh or 15th in the pecking order given the placings of this year's best onballers. Bendigo's Harley Reid firms as the likely No.1 pick, while Allies pair Colby McKercher and Riley Sanders could be off the board by the time the Crows are on the clock.

Outside ball winners Darcy Wilson and Joel Freijah are among the names Adelaide could consider, while their Vic Country teammate and midfield-forward Zane Duursma could be in their sights - a selection that would lead to a 'Duursma Showdown' given his siblings Xavier and Yasmin both currently play for Port Adelaide.
