Sydney midfielder Gary Rohan has been taken off the ground on a stretcher following a collision with Carlton’s Sam Rowe midway through the third quarter on Saturday.

Rohan was running back with the flight and jumped to spoil Rowe, before clipping the Carlton defender in the air and falling awkwardly on the field.

The 25-year-old has struggled with injuries over the course of his 80-game career, and missed the first four rounds of 2017 after suffering back problems over the pre-season.
