GWS veteran Lachie Keeffe has called time on his AFL career after 119 games across stints with the Giants and Collingwood.
Keeffe's career started in 2009 with Collingwood, with the 204cm utility playing 40 games in the black and white.
The Queensland native served a two-year ban during his time with the Magpies after testing positive for a banned substance.
He would return to Collingwood in 2017, which would be his final year at the club before being delisted.
Keeffe found a lifeline with GWS, making the move north to New South Wales from 2018. He has since played 79 for the Giants, including three games this year.
Able to play across all three lines of the field as a key position talent, Keefe was a serviceable asset for GWS across his eight years in orange.

“Lachlan should be incredibly proud of the way he has carried himself across 17 seasons in the AFL, and we congratulate him on a remarkable career,” said Jason McCartney, the GWS football boss.
“Since arriving at the club in 2018, Lachie has been the ultimate team man - reliable, selfless, and one of the most respected and admired figures at the club.
“He leaves behind a legacy of resilience, character, and care for his teammates, and we thank him for the enormous contribution he has made both on and off the field.
“We were privileged to watch Lachlan's journey from Collingwood to becoming a much-loved Giant, and we wish him and his family nothing but the very best as he embarks on the next chapter of his life.”
Keeffe's exit follows the departures of Leek Aleer (trade request), Jacob Wehr (free agency) and Callan Ward (retired) already this year.
