West Coast's key forwards were the standout of the club's intra-club match on Friday.
Cooper Duff-Tytler was the early standout with four first half goals, and five in total, while Archer Reid also finished with four goals, and Jobe Shanahan had five scoring shots.
The trio all took strong marks and showed impressive mobility, with Duff-Tytler, selected at Pick 4 in last year's National Draft, potent at ground level in a three-goal first quarter, and Shanahan excellent at providing support up the ground.
Reid played 14 games last year and looks to have added further muscle ahead of his third year, while Shanahan remains eligible for the Rising Star and is coming off a 12-goal debut season.
Jack Graham, Tom Gross and Liam Duggan all failed to play out the game.
Tom McCarthy gathered plenty of the footy with his running power and ability to link-up in transition compelling as he gelled well with Harley Reid, who had classy moments in a consistent showing.
Elliot Yeo also looks set to play an important role after finding plenty of the footy in the engine room.
Harry Schoenberg split his time between the forward line and midfield and kicked two goals in a minute, highlighting a promising game, while new leadership group member Matt Flynn was also among the better players.
Other notable names on the ‘A' team included 2025 draftees Willem Duursma and Josh Lindsay - whose precise kicking was on show - and Deven Robertson, who was in the midfield mix.
Lucca Grego had plenty of the ball for the ‘B' team and was often tasked with taking the kick-ins, while Harvey Johnston had flashy moments returning to a half-forward role he played as a junior after playing higher up the field last year.
