Melbourne skipper Max Gawn is the latest Demon to be limited this pre-season, with the premiership captain mostly training away from the main group during Monday's session at Gosch's Paddock.
Gawn was able to move freely as he predominantly ran and worked on light drills, spending most of his time with veteran forward Jake Melksham and defender Daniel Turner.
Turner, who signed a new extension that ties him to the red and blue through to 2030, has been limited late into the year with a suspected hamstring issue.
The trio worked through a light session but away from a growing rehab group that consists of Jack Viney, Jack Henderson, Thomas Matthews and Xavier Lindsay, the latter noted to be having his workloads managed.
Defender Jake Bowey wasn't sighted in the wake of his recent Lisfranc injury that will see him sidelined for the next six months.
Changkuoth Jiath and Shane McAdam continue to build up their workloads, having both endured injury-hit years, while Monday's session saw Harvey Langford and Ed Langdon both restricted with non-contact caps.
One Demon looking to return to the fold after an extended period on the sidelines is forward-turned-defender Andy Moniz-Wakefield, who was a lively presence and part of most drills as he works his way back from an ACL injury.
The 22-year-old's 2025 campaign was over before it could begin, having been struck down by the long-term setback in February.

Moved to a more defensive role to offer some run and spread, Moniz-Wakefield could prove to be a valuable addition to the Demons' plans under new coach Steven King after being a forgotten asset this year.
The club lost Judd McVee to Fremantle over the trade period, will be without Bowey for a large portion of the 2026 season, and could call on backman Trent Rivers for more midfield minutes following an off-season that also saw onballers Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver depart.
With Jiath still building up his workloads before the turn of the year, King could turn toward Moniz-Wakefield as a reinforcement for the start of the season, which gets underway in mid-March against St Kilda.
