Collingwood has returned to training on a glorious Monday morning in Melbourne, headed by a host of premiership stars attending a week ahead of schedule.

With the first-to-fourth-year players expected back at the KGM Centre, including the five 2025 draftees, Jeremy Howe, Darcy Cameron, Jordan De Goey, Lachlan Schultz, Billy Frampton, Harry Perryman and Dan McStay were all seen flying across the oval.

In a mix of running drills and link play, the Pies veterans helped guide and instruct the new wave coming through at the club.

Mid-season draftee Roan Steele, who recently signed a two-year extension until the end of 2027, took out the Bronco testing.

The challenge assesses speed endurance and aerobic capacity, with Steele leading the charge ahead of Lachie Sullivan and Wil Parker.

Sullivan is back into the swing of things after his 2025 season ended abruptly against Richmond in Round 20 after tearing his PCL.

Keen observers were able to identify Perryman's younger brother, Ed, who is trialling for a VFL spot alongside North Adelaide's Zavier Maher.

The pair participated in the entire session, and are being considered for the club's reserves team in 2026.

Maher is an explosive midfielder, standing at 184cm, and has spent time at Carlton's VFL contingent, but more recently at the Roosters in the SANFL.

Perryman, 25, was a consistent performer in the Ovens and Murray League for Lavington, playing 20 senior games last season. He was also at the Giants Academy.

Not taking part in the Bronco was the group of senior players, who performed their own running regime along the sidelines, as well as the five new draftees.

Tyan Prindable, Sam Swadling, Zac McCarthy, Angus Anderson and Jai Saxena all enjoyed their first session in the black and white, whilst also donning guernsey numbers that could indicate their lockers for 2026.

Prindable wore Finlay Macrae's No.18; McCarthy was seen in Oleg Markov's No.37; Anderson donned Brody Mihocek's 41; Saxena was in No.43.

Swadling was training in No.9, which was worn by Dan Houston last year, although it is not suggested he'll take over the number.

New recruit and former Swan Jack Buller was also seen among the younger Collingwood players, wearing Will Hoskin-Elliott's No.32, which has been made vacant following his retirement.

Elsewhere, Reef McInnes was seen building up his loads as he attempts to return from an ACL injury he suffered early in 2025.

McInnes has been redeployed as a key defender after a promising switch 12 months ago, but was quickly denied senior opportunities once he hurt his knee in Round 2.
