Richmond captain Trent Cotchin will miss his side’s clash with West Coast this weekend, as he continues to recover from a hamstring injury.

Cotchin suffered the injury against the Pies back in round 19, with the Tigers deciding the captain needs more time to recover.

“After discussions with our medical staff, we felt that giving Trent an extra week to train and prepare for his return to playing is the best approach,” Richmond General Manager – Football, Neil Balme told the club’s website.

The Tigers expect Cotchin to face Brisbane next weekend in round 23.
