Night one of the 2023 AFL Draft saw 29 prospects reach their dreams of becoming a professional footballer, with a similar tally of teenagers set to follow their footsteps on Tuesday night.
Night one saw the year's best players drafted, while a number of bolters emerged and a total of seven father-son or Academy players earned bids to see the first-round selection tally balloon out to almost a top 30.
West Coast are set to open night two of the draft and will likely field offers from rivals for their selection of Pick 30, with Brisbane, Geelong, Carlton and Richmond to follow.
The Lions and Tigers are looking to make their opening selections early into the second round, and will have access to a number of formidable draft prospects who were overlooked on Monday night.

7. Luamon Lual
An NGA talent for the Bulldogs, who will have their fingers crossed Lual slides past the Pick 40 mark where they can get direct access to the line-breaking backman.
Is a hard-running defender who is a good one-on-one defender and pressure player that is as damaging on defence as he is on the transition.
The Bombers could be one to lodge a bid for Lual before the Dogs get a sniff.
