Phoenix Spicer
“He took the three votes out there,” were the words star defender Luke McDonald said of Spicer following a grueling training session this week.
Spicer was taken with the 42nd pick in last year's draft and looks to have made an immediate impact at Arden Street.
The electrifying goal-sneak was a key performer in the Kangaroos' match simulation and is gaining the respect of his seniors.
“He kicked two goals. He’s just so exciting. I’m very happy that I don’t have to play on him in a real game but he’s certainly causing a lot of headaches for the defenders and he just makes things happen," McDonald added.
“He’s probably the biggest bolter of anyone.”
A little taste of what to expect from Phoenix Spicer.
