The 2025 Grand Final was, for the most part, a scintillating contest between the Cats and Lions and saw Brisbane claim a second consecutive premiership.
The Lions' relentless pressure, exceptional foot skills and dominance from stoppage were all at the heart of their ultimate premiership success which saw them fly home to Queensland as 47-point victors.
But AFL Grand Finals are made up of moments, and there was a number of them that will be remembered fondly, or not so fondly, for the AFL's two most successful teams this century.
We breakdown the five key plays that set up Brisbane's latest dynasty era.
1Zach Guthrie's error
An ill-advised chip kick from Geelong defender Zach Guthrie was poor as soon as the Sherrin hit his boot, resulting in a dangerous turnover right in front of the Cats goal as Connor O'Sullivan was unaware he was being delivered the hardly 15-metre pass.
Cam Rayner quickly pounced with pressure and snapped truly, officially breaking the spirit of all Geelong players afield and extending Brisbane's margin to a certainly insurmountable 27 points.
