The 2025 Grand Final was, for the most part, a scintillating contest between the Cats and Lions and saw Brisbane claim a second consecutive premiership.
The Lions' relentless pressure, exceptional foot skills and dominance from stoppage were all at the heart of their ultimate premiership success which saw them fly home to Queensland as 47-point victors.
But AFL Grand Finals are made up of moments, and there was a number of them that will be remembered fondly, or not so fondly, for the AFL's two most successful teams this century.
We breakdown the five key plays that set up Brisbane's latest dynasty era.
4Jeremy Cameron's injury
This was essentially the game-breaking moment for both sides.
Cameron's brilliant one-armed chase-down tackle on Jaspa Fletcher was the start of the chain that created a vital goal for Geelong, kicked by Max Holmes, to get the Cats back within a solitary point.
It was a heroic effort that could have lifted the spirits of the Cats, but instead, his resulting injury from the desperation act, which has been revealed to likely be a broken arm, saw Geelong capitulate and the game fall into the favour of Brisbane.
It was the kind of play one wants to see from your best players on Grand Final day, putting everything on the line, and it proved that Cameron's impact was still elite for the Cats, despite being unable to capitalise on the scoreboard. However, his absence played a significant factor in Brisbane being able to overrun Geelong in the final term and this moment now goes down as an unfortunate negative for Cats fans.
