It may come as no surprise that Adelaide sharpshooter Darcy Fogarty leads the AFL for goalkicking accuracy so far this season, but a handful of surprising names are ranked amongst the competition's worst converters.

Among players to have had at least 15 shots on goal this year (a total of 106 players), Fogarty has amassed a goalkicking accuracy of 78.1%. The Crows spearhead has slotted 25 of his 32 attempts on goal so far in 2025, managing just four behinds and three shots for no score.

Only St Kilda small Jake Higgins joins Fogarty in having his accuracy over 70% from that group, with the in-form livewire forward going at 73.7%, converting 28 of his 38 shots this season.

Reigning Coleman Medal winner Jesse Hogan rounds out the top three at 68.4% (26 goals from 38 shots), while all of Mabior Chol (20 from 30), Paul Curtis (18 from 27), Will Graham (10 from 15) and Archie Perkins (10 from 15) are good for two goals every three shots.

Graham is the only player in the top 10 to register a score in every shot on goal he's had this year, with Hogan the most wasteful in having six shots fail to add to the Giants' score.

At the lower end of the goalkicking rankings, Brisbane premiership forward Charlie Cameron is enduring a form slump, converting just eight of his 29 shots on goal this year, good for 27.6%.

Cameron has recorded 15 behinds, making up more than half of his shots on goal, with a further six failing to register a score.

Of the top 106 players for shots on goal, Cameron is only joined by Collingwood ace Nick Daicos in being below the 30% mark, with the Magpies midfielder kicking five goals and nine behinds from 17 shots at goal, an accuracy rating of 29.4%.

Adelaide captain Jordan Dawson is going at 31.6% (six goals from 19 shots), with all of Bayley Fritsch (eight from 24), Jake Stringer (eight from 24), Patrick Voss (six from 18), Connor MacDonald (five from 15), Rhyan Mansell (five from 15) and Lachie Schultz (five from 15) good for 33.3% accuracy.

Port Adelaide star Jason Horne-Francis round out the bottom 10, booting eight goals, eight behinds and registering seven shots that failed to score from his 23 attempts on goal.
