Collingwood's star ruckman has been one of the league's most rewarded and disciplined players this year, while a West Coast young gun and North Melbourne midfielder have been costly when it comes to free kick differential.

Not only has Magpies big man Darcy Cameron received the most free kicks for the season, but his total of 20 free kicks against gives him the best positive free kick differential in the competition.

Cameron has been rewarded 43 free kicks in 2025, five more than any other player to give him a net positive of 23 free kicks.

The next best differential is Lions gun Will Ashcroft at +19 (26 for, 7 against), with his younger brother Levi at equal third best with +18 (21 for, 3 against), tied with Fremantle's Caleb Serong (30 for, 12 against).

Serong's partner-in-crime Andrew Brayshaw is narrowly behind on +17 (31 for, 14 against), with Suns ruckman Jarrod Witts having the same differential (35 for, 18 against).

Among the top dozen for positive free kick differential, only Geelong's Brad Close has as few free kicks against as Levi Ashcroft on three, with Gold Coast spearhead Ben King the next best with six against.

Ruck pair Max Gawn and Tristan Xerri, as well as Hawks hard-nut Jai Newcombe, have the next highest free kick for total behind Cameron this year, but have all conceded at least 25 frees against.

St Kilda rookie Tobie Travaglia has recorded 10 free kicks for and none against to have the best return, while Melbourne forward Aidan Johnson is the worst with 0 for and 10 against this year.

As for the worst differentials, Eagles wunderkind Harley Reid and Roos ball magnet Luke Davies-Uniacke have a -20 free-kick differential.

Reid has conceded a league-high 46 free kicks this year, winning 26 himself, while Davies-Uniacke has given away 28 free kicks, winning just eight the other way.

St Kilda's Rowan Marshall has the second most free kicks against with 41 and has won 24, putting him third overall for worst differential at -17, with Fremantle's Brennan Cox (7 for, 21 against) and Marshall's teammate Hunter Clark the next worst (4 for, 18 against).
