Following the outcome of last year's recording-breaking count, it's seemingly harder than ever to predict how the Brownlow Medal race will unfold.
The 2024 count saw the previous single-season votes record under the 3-2-1 format shattered by two players, with Carlton captain Patrick Cripps going on to claim his second Brownlow with a staggering 45 votes.
Cripps will again be a leading contender for this year's award but will have plenty of competition from some of the game's household names.
Here we name seven leading options for the 2025 Brownlow Medal and a further three who could make a late charge.
4. Isaac Heeney
The Swans star was the Brownlow favourite midway through last year, with a Roud 19 suspension - and subsequent failed challenges - putting a line through his prospects.
Heeney's first half of 2024 was strong, amassing 21 votes in a nine-game stretch between Rounds 2-11 to hold the lead, albeit ineligible.
The New South Welshman still managed 28 votes for the season while playing 21 games - the fewest among the top 18 vote-getters.
With Errol Gulden facing an extension period on the sidelines due to ankle surgery, Heeney will have less competition from teammates to potentially poll votes for the Swans, with fellow midfielder Chad Warner now looming as Heeney's biggest contender.

Warner himself wouldn't be out of place on this list, with the explosive Swan managing 23 votes last year.
