When Zero Digital Sports was first founded in December of 2014, it was probably not in anyone's wildest imagination that we'd still be sitting here a decade later with millions of Australians consuming our content every month.
Dating back to the end of 2014 - a period which fell right in the middle of Essendon's supplements saga, and just months after Hawthorn collected their second of three straight premierships - much has happened in the football world.
From legends and teams etching their names into the history books, to scandals, tragedies, and shocks, the past 10 years alone have been filled with memorable and infamous moments - both on and off the field.
So, without further ado, here are 10 of the biggest stories since the inception of Zero Digital Sports in December 2014.
7. Rioli's career revival after drug ban
West Coast forward Willie Rioli was handed a provisional suspension by the league and ASADA under the anti-doping code after a peculiar sample following a drug test in 2019. It was revealed that Rioli admitted to swapping his sample for a clean one after smoking marijuana the evening prior to his test.
Rioli was handed a backdated two-year suspension in March 2021, missing the Eagles' 2019 finals campaign, as well as the 2020 season. A month after his suspension was handed down, Rioli was found in possession of 25 grams of marijuana at the Darwin Airport.
He pled guilty to carrying the substance after being arrested and would be placed under a year-long good behaviour bond. He was permitted to return to play later in the year and would be in line for a late-season return before suffering an injury setback that put a line through his 2021 campaign.

Rioli returned to the field for West Coast's 2022 season opener against Gold Coast and would kick one goal in a loss. He ended the season with 13 games and 14 goals to his name before seeking a trade to Port Adelaide.
He would make his Power debut in Round 1 the following year against Brisbane and would boot three goals in a win. He has since brought his career games tally to 90 matches, playing 39 games for Port Adelaide over the past two years.
