2. Forward Line

Dayne Zorko

Zorko put together an excellent captains game, leading by example to a Lions victory over the Cats.

He worked hard all game finishing with 24 disposals, 10 marks, 12 tackles, 12 score involvements, 6 intercepts and 445 metres gained.

Aaron Naughton

The high-flying Naughton was the dominant forward against the Eagles as the forward proved too much for the West Coast defence. He created a contest every time the ball was kicked to him, which gave himself and his other forwards plenty of opportunities all game.

Kicking 4 goals, he also gathered 15 touches, 9 marks, 8 score involvements, and an elite 5 contested marks.

Marcus Bontempelli

In another match-winning performance, the Bont was at his best gathering plenty of the ball and impacting the scoreboard.

The forward/midfield kicked 3 majors, collected 29 touches to go along with 7 tackles, 10 clearances, 9 score involvements, 5 intercepts and 514 metres gained. Bontempelli has become the clear favourite to take home the Brownlow at the end of the season.

Dylan Moore

The young Hawks forward put together one of his best performances kicking twice as many goals as any other forward on the ground.

By the end, Moore had 4 goals to go along with 20 touches, 9 score involvements, 5 inside 50s, 4 marks, 445 metres gained.

Joe Daniher

The exciting Brisbane forward was efficient in front of goal making the most of his opportunities against the Cats.

Finishing with 4.1, he also gathered 14 touches, 6 marks, 8 score involvements, 4 inside 50s and 420 metres gained. The big forward will play a pivotal role in Brisbane's finals chances, by impacting the scoreboard and allowing Lion's small forwards to crumb when the ball spills out of the contest.

Rory Lobb

The big forward was the focal point for a Dockers outfit who scored one of their highest tallies of the season. Lobb made the most of his teams delivery taking 8 marks, with 4 of them being contested.

He managed to convert that into 3.2, while also grabbing 17 disposals and 9 score involvements.
