Sydney have decided against offering pair Aaron Francis and Blake Leidler new contracts for the 2026 season.
Francis departed the Swans after three years in the red and white, having ventured to New South Wales from Essendon at the end of the 2022 season.
The Swans swingman played 30 games at his second club, adding to his 54 matches with the Bombers from 2016.
Francis played 10 games under Dean Cox in 2025.
Leidler joined the Swans as a rookie draft selection last November out of Surrey, Victoria, with the teenager featuring in 19 games for Sydney's VFL side this year.
“I want to thank Aaron and Blake for their contributions to our football club,” Swans general manager Leon Cameron said in a club statement.

“Since arriving at the club a few years ago, Aaron, in particular, has played an extremely important role in adding experience and versatility to our senior side. He was also a very valuable contributor when he played VFL footy, helping develop our younger athletes.
“Blake was a solid contributor in our VFL side this season, and I thank him for his commitment to our program since arriving in Sydney.
“I wish both boys the very best for their futures.”
The pair of list changes at Sydney follow the club's decision to also not offer new deals to Robbie Fox, Indhi Kirk, Caleb Mitchell and Ben Paton since the conclusion of their 2025 campaign.
