Damien Hardwick will spend the bye week contemplating replacements for dynamic duo Christian Petracca and Bailey Humphrey, as MRO scrutiny and a hamstring niggle curtail strong starts to the season for the pair.
In the midst of Gold Coast's trouncing of the Richmond Tigers at the MCG on Saturday, Petracca cited hamstring awareness and took no further part in the contest.
Scans will reveal the extent of the injury, but the Suns are expected to take no unnecessary risks with their star recruit, who had turned in back-to-back best afield performances in his first two outings for the Carrara natives. The former Demon averaged 28.5 disposals and more than three goals per game prior to the clash with the Tigers, in which he posted 20 disposals and two behinds before the injury struck.
Humphrey has been handed a two-week ban from the Match Review Officer for a rough conduct. Humphrey executed an illegal sling tackle on Richmond's energiser bunny, Maurice Rioli, in the third quarter of the contest. Michael Christian graded the action as careless conduct, high impact and high contact, a combination that carries with it, a two-week ban.

Fremantle's Patrick Voss has been handed a fine, too, for misconduct, after he repeatedly taunted Melbourne's Harrison Petty at the first change of their Saturday encounter.
Toby Greene has remarkably been handed only the first striking offence of his storied history with the MRO, after he struck Marcus Windhager in the final quarter of a frustrating loss for the Giant's skipper. He can accept a $1000 fine with an early plea.
