WAFL

Peel Thunder 5.13 (43) def. by East Perth 11.10 (76)

Inaccuracy cost Peel in their game against West Perth. Freo listed Cameron Sutcliffe (36 disposals) was good the Thunder, while Zac Dawson had 6 touches, and did not take a mark.

East Perth did well to take the win as their AFL listed players were solid, without shining. Eric Mackenzie was amongst the best.

Swan Districts 15.9 (99) def. Claremont 13.4 (82)

Ricky Cary kicked five goals, and David Ellard recorded 21 disposals and 13 tackles, as Swan Districts knocked off Claremont in a tight one.

For the Tigers it was Ryan Lim who impressed, finishing the game with 32 touches, eight maarks, and two goals.

West Perth 15.19 (109) def. Perth 14.6 (90)

Shane Nelson has once again put on an impressive display for West Perth. His 41 disposals, and five inside 50s helped lead them to a win over Perth.

Despite the loss, Clinton Jones again proved that he is still a top level talent. He was one of the Demon's best, finishing the game with 34 disposals and a goal.

VFL

Footscray 25.13 (163) def. North Ballarat 5.9 (39)

This result was no surprise, with the lowly North Ballarat succumbing to the the strength of Footscray.

Mitch Walllis finished with 34 touches and three goals for the victors, while Tory Dickson kicked 3.1 in his first game back after off-season surgery.

Nick Rippon was good for the Roosters despite the loss, collecting 33 touches, and snagging two goals.

Geelong 14.8 (92) def. Casey 8.8 (56)

Rhys Stanley dominated across the ground for Geelong, and helped lead them to a win over Casey. He had 22 disposals, 26 hit-outs, three goals, and 12 marks.

Thomas Ruggles also had a good game for the cats, as he amassed 29 touches.

Jack Trengove was again impressive for Casey, finishing with 27 touches. Angus Scott (25 disposals & three goals) also had a great game for the Demons.

Werribee 14.13 (97) def. Essendon 9.20 (74)

There was a myriad of AFL talent on display in Werribee's win over Essendon.

Veterans Lindsay Thomas (four goals), and Andrew Swallow (25 disposals & 12 tackles) were good for the Tigers. While youngsters Declan Mountford (22 touches & 10 tackles), Braydon Preuss (49 hit-outs & a goal), and Mitch Hibberd (28 disposals & a goal) also impressed.

For the Bombers, David Myers was good despite the loss, he had 27 touches and 9 tackles. While youngster Kyle Langford was also solid, collecting 20 disposals, and laying 14 tackles.

Sandringham 17.11 (113) def. Collingwood 12.21 (93)

It was the Paddy McCartin show in this one, as Sandringham knocked off Collingwood. The St Kilda big man kicked 7.3, and took 10 marks.

For the Pies, Jordan De Goey put in a great effort. He had 32 disposals, and 2 goals. Jarryd Blair also did well, finishing with 33 touches and a goal.

Port Melbourne 14.14 (98) def. Richmond 9.14 (68)

Port Melbourne have maintained their unbeaten record, beating Richmond by 30 points.

Sam Dwyer was one of the best on for the Borough, he had 10 marks, to go along with his 25 touches. Eli Templeton was also good for the victors, collecting 32 disposals, taking 10 marks, and kicking a goal.

Sam Lloyd was Richmond's best player on the day. He made his case for a senior recall, with 22 touches, and four goals.

Williamstown 8.14 (62) def. by Box Hill 13.12 (90)

Jonathan O'Rourke (27 disposals) put in a good effort, as Box Hill knocked off Williamstown. Ty Vickery kicked 3.1 for the victors, in a performance that may see him slide back into the seniors.

Ayce Cordy was good for Williamstown, finishing with 15 disposals, and 10 marks. It could have been an even better day for the big man, however he could only manage 1.3.

Coburg 11.13 (79) def. by Northern Blues 21.15 (141)

The Northern Blues have dominated Coburg in a high scoring affair. Sam Kerridge was excellent for the victors, he had 31 disposals, took 11 marks, and kicked two goals. Dale Thomas was also amongst it, finishing with 31 touches, 14 marks, and a goal.

Blake Mullane was one of Coburg's best, kicking four goals, and collecting 22 disposals.

SANFL

Norwood 13.7 (85) def. by South Adelaide 13.11 (89)

Former Adelaide player Mitch Grigg (33 disposals, nine tackles, and eight marks) put on a show, however it wasn't enough to get Norwood over the line.

Brede Seccull (24 disposals, 11 tackles, and a goal) and Joel Cross (20 disposals & two goals) were some of the best players on the ground for the victors, South Adelaide.

Adelaide 8.11 (59) def. by Port Adelaide 14.10 (94)

Port Adelaide took bragging rights over Adelaide, knocking off their rivals by 35 points.

Brett Eddy impressed for the Magpies, his 22 disposals, and five goals, could warrant him a call-up to the seniors.

For Adelaide it was again Hugh Greenwood (27 disposals & nine tackles) who put in a big effort, while Scott Thompson (23 touches) also did well.

Glenelg 12.9 (81) def. Central District 11.10 (76)

A late charge from Glenelg has meant they took home the points in their clash against Central District.

Christian Howard starred for the Tigers, finishing with 28 disposals, and two goals.

Nick Holman was very active for Central District, he had 24 touches, seven marks, and 11 tackles.

North Adelaide 15.14 (104) def. West Adelaide 12.10 (82)

26 disposals, 15 marks, and two goals from Leigh Ryswyk has helped North Adelaide to a solid win over West Adelaide. Michael Virgin was also good, collecting 30 touches.

Izak Rankine put in a huge performance for West Adelaide, he had 24 disposals and kicked four goals.

NEAFL

NT Thunder 13.6 (84) def. by Sydney 16.12 (108)

Oliver Florent had 28 disposals, and a goal, as Sydney claimed a win over the Thunder. Aliir Aliir also impressed, collecting 18 touches, and taking 7 marks, in defence.

Adam Sambono kicked 4.2 for the Northern Territory.

Sydney Uni 17.12 (114) def. Gold Coast 10.7 (67)

Xavier Richards might have a tough time breaking into the seniors despite his stellar performance in the 2s. His Sydney Uni were very impressive in their win over Gold Coast.

Tom Young put in a great performance for the victors, finishing the game with 38 disposals, and 11 marks.

Suns listed player Darcy Macpherson had some leather poisoning on the weekend, he had an incredible 39 disposals.

Southport 8.12 (60) def. by Aspley 13.10 (88)

Former North Melbourne player Ben Warren played a starring role in Aspley's win over Southport. The forward kicked three goals, to go along with his 21 disposals.

James Holland was good for the Sharks, he had 25 touches, and 7 tackles.
