Brisbane have maintained their perfect start to the season with a 59-point thumping of Southport.
The Sharks remained in the contest until the final quarter as the Lions kicked 5.9 to 0.2 in the final term to chalk up the easy win with Liam Dawson gathering 31 touches to go along with 17 marks and seven inside 50s in the win. Ryan Harwood kicked three goals from his 28 touches. Allen Christensen was also good for the Lions.
Jordan Keras was best on ground for the Sharks with 29 touches and five clearances.
Canberra 13.17 (95) def. Giants 12.7 (79)
The Giants suffered a shock loss in Canberra on the weekend as 36 touches from Daniel Lloyd couldn't stop Canberra from turning a 14-point halftime deficit into a 16-point win.
Number 14 draft pick Harry Perryman picked up 26 touches and kicked three goals as he continues to impress while former Docker Matt De Boer returned from a hamstring injury and was among the best as he saw just under 70% of game time.
For Canberra, Josh Bennett continued his strong start to the year with three goals.

Callum Ah Chee was best on ground for the Gold Coast as they came home strong in the final quarter to take the points against the Hornets.
Ah Chee had 22 touches and seven rebound 50s in the win while Trent McKenzie was also impressive with 32 touches and seven rebound 50s himself.
Pearce Hanley returned to action after taking time out of the game due to personal matters.
