Giants 8.10 (58) def. by Aspley 19.15 (129)

In what was a disappointing performance from the Giants, Aspley romped to a 71-point win. Former North Melbourne player Ben Warren kicked 6.3 for the victors, leading them to the four points.

Giants rookie Zach Sproule was amongst their best, kicking three goals, and finishing with 25 disposals.

Canberra 6.8 (44) def. by Sydney 25.15 (165)

Kurt Tippett has made a big push for a recall to the seniors, he kicked four goals, and had 34 hit-outs, and 22 disposals. Jordan Dawson was also excellent, recording 38 disposals and kicking two goals.

On what was a glum day for Canberra, Jordan Harper performed well, he had 30 disposals, and 11 tackles.

Sydney Uni 18.22 (130) def. Southport 5.13 (43)

Sydney Uni have maintained their unbeaten record, thrashing Southport on the weekend. Former Sydney Swan Xavier Richards continued his good form, kicking three goals.

Jordan Keras was again in the best for Southport, collecting an impressive 33 disposals for the Sharks.

Redland 17.15 (117) def. Brisbane 16.8 (104)

Despite strong performances from Brisbane's Ryan Bastinac (32 disposals), and Matt Hammelmann (5 goals), the Lions could not get over the line against Redland,

Hayden Bertoli-Simmonds had 25 touches for the victors, while Aaron Christensen kicked four goals.

NT Thunder 13.12 (90) def. Gold Coast 9.6 (60)

The Thunder were back to their winning ways at home, knocking off Gold Coast by 30 points. Adam Sambono (5 goals) and Darren Ewing (3 goals) were again potent up forward for the Northern Territory.

Tom Nicholls was one of the Suns' best, while Mitch Hallahan was also good despite the loss.
