Round 7 saw six players poll a perfect 20 votes in Zero Hanger's AFL MVP, the most in a weekend this season.

Fremantle superstar Andrew Brayshaw was one of the six, with his 37-disposal domination of Adelaide cementing himself as the season leader in votes with 79, nine ahead of second place. Caleb Serong joins Brayshaw in the top ten, polling 16 votes from his 32-disposal and 10-clearance outing at Optus Stadium, which included an elite 19 contested possessions.

Only Steele Sidebottom had more of those this weekend with 22 contested possessions, the 34-year-old defying Father Time in another Anzac Day masterclass. Understandably, the best-on-ground medallist also polled a perfect 20 votes from our staff, as he turned back the clock with a ridiculous 35 disposals and career-high 15 clearances. Jamie Elliott's five-goal bag and game-high 11 score involvements earned him 16 votes, while Nick Daicos has climbed into fourth on the leaderboard with his 12 votes seeing him now sit at 66 total.

Max Gawn (20 votes) also gave the league a reminder of what he's capable of, decimating a young Richmond side with 34 hitouts, 25 disposals and 12 score involvements. Fellow Demon premiership star Christian Petracca earned high praise too, polling 16 votes to his name after a well-rounded 28-disposal, two-goal outing.

Brisbane's Lachie Neale and Port Adelaide's Zak Butters both enter the top 10 with 20-vote efforts this weekend. Against St Kilda, Neale wrecked the Saints' defence with 31 disposals and three goals as he hunts for a third Brownlow Medal, while Butters' relentlessness around the footy in a heated affair with North Melbourne saw Port Adelaide stave off an upset, his 13 tackles and 27 disposals crucial to the result.

Bailey Humphrey (20 votes) was instrumental in Gold Coast's second half comeback victory over Sydney, the 20-year-old forward pouring in four goals in a career-best game. Ben King notched 15 votes to enter the leaderboard's top 20, four of his five goals coming in the 67-point turnaround.

Matthew Kennedy's adaptability was recognised as the Bulldogs' dynamic playing list builds momentum, his two goals and 26 disposals in his return to half forward, acknowledged with three best-on-ground votes (15 total). Harry McKay's three goals (19 votes) made Carlton fans proud in their upset win over the Cats, while Lloyd Meek's record-breaking performance rounded out the weekend, 17 votes to his name for his 58 hitouts, a new club record.
