The VFL has confirmed a 40-player list for the 2025 VFL Team of the Year squad, with standalone clubs Coburg and Frankston leading the way with the most selections.
The Lions and Dolphins have five representatives each, with Box Hill the next best with four players featured.
Gold Coast Suns, Northern Bullants, Sandringham and Sydney Swans are the only clubs not represented in the squad.
Ten of the 40 players picked are on an AFL list, while a further 14 were previously in the AFL system.
Williamstown's Luke Parks, Carlton/Essendon forward Liam McMahon, Werribee champion Dom Brew, Southport ace Jacob Dawson, Coburg's Flynn Gentile and Brisbane midfielder Deven Robertson have all made the squad after being selected in the 2024 VFL Team of the Year.
The extended squad will be reduced to 24 names at the VFL and VFLW Awards night, which is scheduled for Monday, September 15.
