AFL fans are on the edge of their seats for Saturday's decider between Geelong and Brisbane, but there will be another element to the day that has the football world waiting in anticipation.
Snoop Dogg.
The American rapper will perform in front of 100,000 fans at the MCG, but has been used to the spotlight, being a household name at worldwide events such as the Olympics and the Super Bowl.
The employment of Snoop Dogg as the 2025 AFL Grand Final entertainment follows an impressive run of musical stars, following acts such as Robbie Williams, KISS and Katy Perry in recent years.
But although the sport is largely foreign to the 53-year-old, he well and truly understands the gravity of his pre-game performance, and what the day means to Australians.
"It's always been a warm welcome for me," he said.
"I love this culture, and I appreciate y'all for allowing me to perform. We'll have some special guests that will be performing with me to make it feel like it's supposed to feel.
"That's why I want to share the stage with a couple of family members, so that way we can do it in unity.
"I know what this means to the culture. I've been coming to this country for years, and I understand what this game is and what it means.
"So I know it's not just a sport, it's a way of life. It's not just a team or club, it's part of your DNA, so I understand what is at stake."

Snoop Dogg said he has enjoyed every minute he travels to the land down under, but when entering Melbourne's doors, he was immediately infatuated with Australian rules football.
"This sport, man. I just fell in love with this sport," the American rapper said.
"I always would watch it and never really understood. It reminded me of American Football, rugby and a couple of other things. But now that I understand it, I really want to know more about it and see the grand finale."
He loves it so much that the Gin and Juice artist caught up with Collingwood's Nick and Josh Daicos for a pre-grand final kick.

"I think it was more hand-eye coordination," he said.
"They taught me. I was taught. I didn't just do it. I was taught by two of the greats. They gave me some tutelage on what to kick and where to aim, and the whole form thing, so I can look right in case someone took a picture."
However, although there may be some initial affiliation with the Pies (due to the Daicos brothers), or the Western Bulldogs (given his name), Snoop Dogg was asked who his tip was between Geelong and Brisbane.
"You know what I'm not going to do," he said.
"I'm not going to split half the people that love me and make them hate me."
Who will Snoop Dogg perform with in the grand final?
Snoop Dogg will perform with Australian artists Tash Sultana on guitar, Baker Boy, a choir featuring Emma Donovan and Kee'ahn, and Mike Brady.
Vera Blue will sing the national anthem.
