Marcus Bontempelli, Max Gawn, Nat Fyfe, Toby Greene, Touk Miller and Brisbane duo Dayne Zorko and Cam Rayner will all feature in the new AFL docuseries from the makers of 'Drive to Survive', set to be released on February 27, 2026.

From the Emmy award-winning team at Box To Box Films, which produced Formula 1 and NHL standout series, Final Siren: Inside the AFL is a four-part, character-driven project that takes fans inside the 2025 season from the perspective of some of the most beloved players.

The Western Bulldogs, Melbourne, Fremantle, GWS, Gold Coast and the Lions let the cameras in the inner sanctum to provide "an intimate behind-the-scenes look through the eyes of absolute legends".

"We are excited to give fans the ability to connect deeply with the sports and athletes they love," said Sarah Christie, head of originals, Prime Video Australia and New Zealand.

"Final Siren: Inside the AFL captures the raw passion, personality and drama of Aussie Rules football in ways we have never been seen before, and we are thrilled to showcase the game to the world."

Prime and the AFL have worked together on three projects since 2019, including the successful Making Their Mark (scenes from the 2020 AFL season), Kick Like Tayla (focusing on AFLW star Tayla Harris) and Warriors on the Field (a deep dive into Indigenous players in the AFL).

"While Aussie Rules football is deeply rooted in Australia, the emotions at the center of this series are universal—ambition, pressure, identity, and the personal cost of competing at the highest level," said Hillary Olsen, executive producer at Box To Box.

"With unprecedented access and a character-first lens, the series thrusts viewers into the intensity of the game, capturing high-stakes moments on and off the field that resonate with audiences around the world."
