Melbourne has confirmed its re-signing of young trio Jai Culley, Andy Moniz-Wakefield and Ricky Mentha Jnr for the 2026 season.
The trifecta has committed as rookies for next year.
Culley joined the Demons as an SSP selection after he was delisted from West Coast.
The 22-year-old first featured for Melbourne in Round 22, and remained in the senior side for the final three weeks of the season.
Moniz-Wakefield joined the club as a Category B Rookie in 2021, and after an impressive stretch of games at the end of last year, 2025 was deemed his breakout year.
Unfortunately, he ruptured his ACL, PCL and MCL, ultimately ruling him out for the year.
Mentha also joined the Demons through the Category B Rookie mechanism, albeit in November last year through the club's academy from the Alice Springs region.
Mentha showed plenty through his 17 outings in the VFL, and will feature in the club's side as they embark on a finals campaign.
"We've been really impressed by Jai, Andy and Ricky this year, for their efforts both on and off the field," said Melbourne AFL List Manager Tim Lamb.
"What we have seen from Jai and Ricky, as well as Andy, during the pre-season, fills us with a lot of confidence for the impact they can have in the future at AFL level. Their attitude through their respective challenges has been just as impressive.
"We look forward to their continued development and what they can each bring in 2026."
