Richmond has recommitted to youngsters Campbell Gray (2027), Kaleb Smith (2026) and Oliver Hayes-Brown (2026) to new deals.

Gray has quickly emerged as an emerging prospect at Punt Road since he was taken in last year's Mid-Season Draft.

The rangy defender has applied his skillset to the VFL, whilst featuring three times under Adem Yze, albeit dealing with injuries and concussion.

Smith will get another 12 months to develop his craft, taking his time at the Tigers into season four.

The 20-year-old has played 12 games of AFL football as a small defender, including eight in 2025. Smith was also one of the club's best throughout the VFL season.

Hayes-Brown will continue as a Category B Rookie, joining Richmond as a former NBL basketballer (Perth Wildcats).

He's yet to debut for the Tigers, but has been pressing his case in the reserves, playing 16 matches in 2025.

"It was great to see Campbell break through for his AFL debut and play strong football whenever he was available right across the season, and for Kaleb to double his career games tally," Richmond EGM of Football Talent, Blair Hartley, said.

"Ollie also received significant exposure at VFL level and took his game to a new level.

"Each player has really applied themselves in their time at the Club and earned these contract extensions.

"We know that they will attack the summer with the same commitment, and we are excited to see what they can achieve next season."

Contract calls on Tyler Sonsie and Thomson Dow have yet to be confirmed, while Tylar Young has requested a trade to West Coast.
