Richmond's Tylar Young has reportedly requested a trade to West Coast.
The 27-year-old was weighing up his future, and both the Tigers and Eagles had put forward solid deals, while North Melbourne were also said to be keen.
The Western Australian club is believed to have tabled a three-year offer.
The obvious link to West Coast is senior coach Andrew McQualter, who spent time at Punt Road before making the switch across the Nullarbor.
Jack Graham and Liam Baker are also former Richmond players.

It would be a major coup for the Eagles, who desperately need some defensive cover after losing Jeremy McGovern to retirement.
The delisting of Callum Jamieson only furthers the need to improve their back stocks.
Young's out-of-contract status would mean a trade deal would have to be struck between the two clubs.
If a deal cannot be struck, and the Tigers cannot extend Young's services, he can walk as a delisted free agent later in the off-season.
Young was drafted to the Tigers as a rookie out of their VFL program in 2022, and made his debut the following year, eventually featuring in 19 games for the season. The 26-year-old has shown strong glimpses against the game's best forwards.
He has played 35 matches across the past three years.
The 2025 free agency period will begin on Friday, October 3, while the trade period opens on Monday, October 6.
