Richmond coach Adem Yze is looking at the club's injury crisis as glass half full, despite the young trio of Harry Armstrong, Jasper Alger and Rhyan Mansell being sidelined for at least eight weeks.
The Tigers will need to make at least two changes, with Armstrong (foot) and Alger (MCL) failing to finish last week's encounter with Fremantle.
"It's disappointing we lost a couple players (to injury) on the weekend again, but we'll get some fresh faces in this weekend," Yze said.
"We've got to cover for Harry and Jasper, so someone is going to get an opportunity."
Small forward Zane Peucker, who was drafted with Pick 31 last year from the SANFL, has emerged as a debutant following strong form in the reserves.
Peucker poses as a like-for-like replacement for Alger, and has put his name in lights after a three-goal, 16-possession outing against Coburg on the weekend.
"He's in really good form, really good VFL form," Yze said.
"He's knocking on the door, whether he's breaking the door down just yet. But that's the silver lining that might come out of the injury crisis we're going through right now.
"He's thrown his hand up each week."
However, Yze couldn't help but empathise with his young contingent amid a growing injury list, but didn't stop at suggesting the club will review its processes in a bid to lessen the stress on players.
"You feel sorry for the young players," the Tigers coach said.
"We need them to play together... creating that synergy. That's the disappointing part for our footy club. A lot of our highly talented kids are having big breaks or missing a little bit of footy.
"We're dealing with a little bit.
"It's a bit unfortunate. The guys who have got foot issues, we'll look into all of those things, whether it's boots or things we can help (with bone stress).
"We need to provide an environment and a program that isn't putting stress on our players."
Premiership defender Nathan Broad also looms as a likely inclusion, pending he overcomes a calf niggle that sidelined him against the Dockers.
