North Melbourne have all but secured the services of Jared Polec next season and seem to be leading the race for Andrew Gaff, and the Roos could have another out-of-contract midfielder on their list of recruits for the 2019 season.
The Suns could see Tom Lynch and Steven May both leave during the off-season, and Aaron Hall's name could be added to that list.
The 27-year-old played just six games this season due to form and injury, and has been linked to a move to Arden Street.
“Aaron Hall’s the one,” Herald Sun reporter Jay Clark told Triple M.
“The Gold Coast playmaker, he’s got some tricks, Bill. He can use the footy in the forward half of the ground. He’s another one who’s being linked to the Roos.
“I just wonder though: if they do get (Andrew) Gaff, they get (Jared) Polec, they get Hall. Have they still got some spare change left for Josh Kelly?”
Hall has played 103 games for the Suns, and averages 19.3 disposals and 4.0 inside 50s per game.
