Richmond's first-round pick - the No. 17 selection - is reportedly on the trade table, according to AFL Media'sย Callum Twomey.

However, Twomey reports it is contingent on the players available at that stage of the draft.

He believes that Carlton is one of the clubs "coming with a rush" for the pick, having traded away their first rounder to Essendon - Pick 8 - for Adam Saad.

Twomey also reports that a potential swap of top five picks between North Melbourne and Hawthorn won't happen.

"Richmondโ€™s pick 17 still up for grabs depending on players left at that stage. Carlton is one of the clubs coming with a rush for it. Northโ€™s potential trade with Hawthorn - pick 2 for 4 & 24 - wonโ€™t happen," Twomey tweeted.
