The AFL's Gather Round concept has been a raging success over three years, giving South Australia an opportunity to showcase their state as they play host in the festival of footy.

But over the three iterations of Gather Round, who has stood out in their performance?

Honourable Mentions:

  • Fremantle forward Josh Treacy (2025) - 11 possessions, six goals and eight marks
  • St Kilda midfielder Brad Crouch (2023) - 33 disposals, two goals, nine clearances and 529 metres gained
  • Adelaide forward Darcy Fogarty (2023) - 16 touches, five goals, 12 score involvements, 10 marks and two goal assists

7Joe Daniher

The Lions premiership forward was fortunate to gang up on North Melbourne, not once, but twice in Gather Round.

Daniher kicked five goals in both outings, while his inaccuracy prevented him from recording more six pointers.

But his follow-up work, amassing at least 18 disposals in both games, as well as pinch-hitting in the ruck, was enough to make it on this list.
