Port Adelaide ruckman Dante Visentini could face potential scrutiny from the Match Review Officer after incidental high contact saw Carlton star defender Adam Saad enter concussion protocols.
The incident that occurred on the cusp of halftime left Saad groggy, with replay vision on the Adelaide Oval screens leading to remonstration by the Blues after the siren for the long break.
The moment unfolded as a handball looped over Saad and Visentini, with Visentini stopping his run as Saad continued to charge ahead.
Visentini then braced for contact as Saad closed in on his direction, with the lumbering 202cm ruckman's shoulder catching the 178cm Blues defender in the head, despite Visentini not electing to leave the ground to bump.
Saad was ruled out for the remainder of the contest at halftime after failing to get through concussion testing, meaning the dashing 30-year-old will miss the Blues' critical clash against Collingwood next week.

Although the bump lacked any malice, a concussion for Saad could lead to MRO scrutiny for 22-year-old Visentini after a breakout display in the forward line, kicking one goal and three behinds for the night.
A grading of careless conduct, high contact and medium impact would see Visentini miss a week through suspension, while an impact grading of high or severe would result in multiple weeks on the sidelines.
Previous high bumps this season, although with greater intent than what Visentini displayed, have resulted in careless conduct, high contact and high impact gradings, which result in a two-match ban.
Both Collingwood's Dan Houston and Melbourne's Aidan Johnson have received such sanctions.
The findings from the MRO will be confirmed on Friday evening.
