Power ruck Ivan Soldo has ruptured his right ACL, ruling him out for the entire 2026 season.

Port Adelaide confirmed the injury was sustained during a training drill on Monday.

"It's such unfortunate news for Ivan," head of medical services Tim O'Leary said.

"He is such a professional and hardworking athlete, so we are really disappointed for him, and we will support him to get through this next stage.

"Ivan sustained the same injury in his left knee in 2020, so he certainly knows what it takes to attack his rehab and return to the top level."

Soldo will consult a surgeon in the coming days.

The former Tiger featured just once at senior level in 2025, and faced an uphill battle for AFL reps with Dante Visentini and Jordon Sweet considered ahead of him in the Power's internal ruck battle.

Soldo was more than solid at SANFL level in 2025, however, averaging 24.3 hitouts per game - the third-highest average in the state competition (minimum 10 games played).
