Port Adelaide has announced the extensions of young trio Jack Whitlock, Christian Moraes and Tom Cochrane, signing until at least the end of 2027.

Whitlock and Moraes joined the Power with Picks 33 and 38 in last year's draft, while Cochrane followed them into the squad as a rookie.

Moraes quickly made his presence felt, debuting in Round 2 against Richmond, and added 14 games to his tally before the end of the year.

The 19-year-old was already signed for next year, but has added a further 12 months to his contract.

Whitlock earned his senior opportunity in Round 21 and played the final four games of the 2025 campaign.

He dominated at SANFL level, playing in multiple roles, which has translated into the AFL.

Cochrane also got a taste of senior football under Ken Hinkley. He is the first known AFL player with Tourette's Syndrome.

Despite a promising start to his career, his season was cut short by a foot injury.

List manager Jason Cripps was pleased to extend the young trio.

"Jack, Christian and Tom have all shown they have what it takes to make an impact at AFL level," Cripps said.

"Tom and Christian both earned opportunities early in the season, and they impressed the coaches with their skills and eagerness to learn.

"Jack's patience paid off, and as a young key forward, he managed the step up to AFL football really well.

"All three players have enormous upside and so much growth ahead. We look forward to seeing them continue their journey at Port Adelaide, and making the most of their chances."

The trio of re-signings comes as the club has already confirmed the futures of Will LorenzMani LiddyJosh Lai and Tom Anastasopoulos, keeping them at the club until at least the end of 2026, while Category B Rookies Jacob Moss and Benny Barrett have joined them.

However, the same can't be said for Ryan Burton, Jeremy Finlayson, Dylan Williams, Lachlan Charleson, Hugh Jackson and Jed McEntee, who were all delisted.

Travis Boak, Willie Rioli and Rory Atkins all announced their retirements.

Josh Carr will take over from Hinkley as senior coach for 2026.
