Port Adelaide has reportedly offered out-of-contract star Miles Bergman a "number of deals" in a bid to keep him at Alberton as a host of rival clubs circle.

St Kilda is heavily invested in bringing Bergman back to Melbourne's southeast, where he grew up not far from the club's headquarters.

The Western Bulldogs have also flagged the 23-year-old as a player who could slot into Luke Beveridge's side, while Collingwood showed previous interest in him two years ago, before he penned a new deal.

In light of the heavy interest, Channel 9's Tom Morris revealed that the Power is adamant on keeping the emerging talent, and have put forth multiple offers, including a whopping seven-yea deal.

"Port Adelaide have offered Miles Bergman a seven-year deal, which would take him through to the end of 2032," Morris said.

"It's one of a number of deals they've offered. A two-year deal. A mid-term deal and a long-term deal.

"They are clearly trying to stop clubs like St Kilda and other teams taking him off their hands.

"It goes in line with what they have offered Zak Butters as well, which is an eight-year deal from the end of next year until the end of 2034.

"Port pulling out all the stops to keep Bergman and Butters."

Bergman's teammate Zak Butters, who comes out of contract next year, is also being courted by a collective of Victorian clubs.

The Bulldogs have put their hand forth once more, while Essendon, Richmond, Hawthorn, Geelong and the Pies remain chances to secure his services, if he opts to leave.

Port Adelaide is desperate to keep their vice-captain, and like Bergman, they have offered multiple deals, including what is reported to be the largest deal in AFL history.

The Power have shown their love for Butters, offering an eight-year deal, as well as a two-year extension when Butters would hit unrestricted free agency status.

If Butters sees out the remainder of his current contract (end of 2026), he will be a restricted free agent, meaning the Alberton club do have the capability of matching a rival's offer, but is unlikely to receive the same compensation that a trade this year would yield.

Port Adelaide's season hangs by a thread after claiming only four wins from the opening 10 rounds, whilst also losing the past three weeks.
