A pair of interstate clubs have reportedly shown interest in out-of-contract midfielder Brayden Fiorini, who is yet to recommit to the Gold Coast Suns despite having a two-year deal on the table.
According to AFL Media's Cal Twomey, Port Adelaide and Essendon are the sides in the hunt for the 28-year-old, who is in the midst of one of the stronger seasons of his career, averaging 21.2 disposals per game.
The Power's list retool continues to take shape in the early stages of the off-season, likely to secure the talents of uncontracted Giant Jacob Wehr and Docker Will Brodie while Essendon have been linked with several elite talents ahead of the trade period, reportedly offering All-Australian Lion Zac Bailey a "mega-offer" last week.
Fiorini has been instrumental for the Suns in 17 games this season, regularly elevating his play against the league's best sides. He recorded 14 disposals and a goal in the Suns thrilling elimination final win against Fremantle and has recorded 25 or more disposals on four occasions in 2025, three of those coming against top four sides.
More to come...
