Melbourne's Christian Petracca has flown to Adelaide to meet with the Crows as he weighs up his future in the red and blue.
For the second successive off-season, Petracca is assessing his options amid interest from a queue of rival clubs.
Following strong plays from Melbourne sides in 2024, interstate clubs are now of the belief that the four-time All-Australian is open to a fresh start away from Victoria.
Both Gold Coast and Adelaide have been heavily linked to the 29-year-old, with the latter meeting with Petracca on Monday ahead of the trade period opening next week.
According to 9 News' Tom Morris, Petracca and the Crows planned to hold discussions over a potential deal that would rely on the superstar Demon requesting a trade to West Lakes.
It comes after Petracca spoke with Suns coach Damien Hardwick, with both sides keen on the 2021 Norm Smith Medal winner.
In addition to his meeting with @Adelaide_FC this afternoon, Christian Petracca has also spoken to @GoldCoastSUNS coach Damien Hardwick in recent days.

Petracca is contracted to Melbourne until the end of 2029 but is believed to have a greater chance of leaving the club this year compared to the stance the Demons took in 2024.
While Petracca didn't lodge a trade request last year, he is understood to have expressed his frustrations with the club and showed some interest in joining a big Victorian club.
Petracca played 23 games for the Demons in 2025, averaging 25.48 disposals, 5.17 inside 50s and 4.39 clearances per game to finish second in the club's best and fairest count.
Adelaide would likely need to part with a first-round draft pick at the very least to attain Petracca, with the Crows' draft hand having Picks 14, 41, 48, 50, 66, 68.
From the 2025 trade period, clubs can exchange future selections for the following two years.
The trade window will open on Monday, October 6, and will run until Wednesday, October 15.
