The first day in the final week of the 2022 AFL Trade Period proved to be enormous, with five deals secured and six players finding new clubs.
A four-club deal saw Jason Horne-Francis and Junior Rioli join Port Adelaide, while Pick 1, 2, 3, 8 and 12 were among 14 selections also included in the deal.

GWS move on Hawks star
GWS are understood to be making a late play for Hawthorn midfielder Jaeger O'Meara, who is contracted until the end of next year.
The Giants have seen their engine room drastically hit this off-season, with duo Tim Taranto and Tanner Bruhn joining Richmond and Geelong respectively, while Jacob Hopper is expected to join Taranto at Punt Road.
O'Meara's name is the latest to be touted in a potential trade, withย News Corp'sย Marc McGowan reporting the former Sun is on the Giants' radar.

Crows provide update on five players
Adelaide's wheelings and dealings for 2022 are almost over, having secured Suns gunย Izak Rankineย while fringe tallย Billy Framptonย is still expected to find his way toย Collingwoodย before Wednesday's trade period deadline.
The acquisition of Rankine is also likely to beย Adelaide's first and only of the 2022 exchange window as they begin turning their attention toward the National Draft next month.
Speaking onย Trade Radioย on Monday, Adelaide list manager Justin Reid provided insight into his club's movements before the trade deadline, with Frampton set to join the Magpies before the Crows wrap up their plans.
Frampton isn't the only Crows player linked to the exit this off-season, with contracted trioย Matt Crouch,ย Lachlan Shollย andย Fischer McAseyย all having their names raised as part of the rumour mill.
When asked on the placing of the Crows trio, Reid expressed all three are seen set on remaining at West Lakes, while there are no guarantees for off-contract forward Jimmy Rowe.

Clark to remain a Saint
Hunter Clarkย is reportedly set to remain atย St Kildaย for at least the remainder of his contract, perย SEN's Sam Edmund.
Clark was rumoured to leave the club in favour of a fresh start atย Northย Melbourneย after the Saints labelled him as obtainable in this year's trade period. However, after weeks of speculation it seems the former top 10 draft pick will remain at the club in 2023.
Northย Melbourneย were reportedly very keen on acquiring his services, and with Clark only having a year to run on his contract, it's possible that interest could be re-ignited come this time next year.
The small defender has struggled to play consistent footy over the last two seasons, with concussion injuries amongst others limiting his health and fitness throughout 2021 and 2022.

Cats and Pies stuck amid Henry stalemate
Collingwoodย andย Geelongย are reportedly no closer to sorting a deal to see young Pie Ollie Henry head down the highway to the Cats.
Henry managed 15 games for the Pies in 2022, averaging 8.1 disposals, after ten games in his debut 2021 season.
With brother Jack playing at the Cats, theย Geelongย native is reportedly keen to head back home in search of better opportunity after just two seasons in black and white, but may not see a deal done this trade period.
Speaking onย SEN Breakfast,ย Sam Edmund gave an update on the young Pie, admitting that the two parties were yet to reach a suitable deal.

Soldo set to be part of Hopper dealย
Richmondย are reportedly set to tradeย Ivan Soldoย toย GWSย as part of a deal forย Jacob Hopper, despite their earlier unwillingness to part with the ruckman.
The Tigers are set to send Soldo, pick 31 and a future first-round pick in order to bring Hopper to Punt Road, alongside a 2022 later round pick, per theย Herald Sun.
The ruckman has played 56 games forย Richmondย since his debut in 2017, 13 of those coming in 2022 where he averaged 7.3 disposals and 14.2 hit-outs per match.
Despite the Tigers reportedly being keen to keep the ruck duo of Soldo andย Toby Nankervisย intact, the Canberran has completed a medical with theย Giantsย after meeting with the club.
Richmond's reluctance to part with Soldo comes as theย AFLย ponders scrapping the medical sub rule in 2023 and replacing it with a five-man bench, a rule that would give clubs more flexibility to play a second ruckman.
