Luckless Kangaroo Brayden George is the latest pre-season soft-tissue victim, suffering a hamstring injury at training on Friday.
It is understood George suffered a standard strain, with a minimum three-week lay-off likely.
George, yet to make his senior debut at North Melbourne, has endured a wretched run of injuries, but the Kangaroos have maintained faith in his explosive talents.
The 22-year-old, Pick 22 in the 2022 National Draft, missed all of his first year in the system after undergoing a knee reconstruction in his draft year.
He suffered another ruptured ACL playing in the VFL in 2024.
George has also suffered elbow and shoulder issues. He is contracted until the end of this season.
