Sydney coach John Longmire has confirmed Toby Nankervis will replace injured ruckman Kurt Tippett in Saturday night's clash with the Crows.

Tippett will miss this weekend's semifinal after suffering a hairline fracture in his jaw during the Swans' loss to the Giants last Saturday afternoon.

Nankervis has played just 11 senior games and just seven this season.

Meanwhile, former Eagle Callum Sinclair is still at least a week away from returning from a knee injury he suffered in Round 16 against Carlton.

Longmire also confirmed that midfielder Josh Kennedy will play against the Crows after he passed a concussion test during the week.
